The wind of change in public procurement that guarantees transparency, accountability, competition and cost effectiveness was imbibed by the Plateau State Government.

A Law that seeks to bring a reverse in Public procurement process was considered by the Plateau State House of assembly.

The call was made in Jos during roundtable meeting held as part of a visit by Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to engage with stakeholders on procurement activities in Plateau State. The session focused on promoting openness, transparency, and accountability in public procurement processes.

Participants emphasized collaboration, improved access to procurement data, and strengthened oversight mechanisms to ensure value for money in public spending.
